Established in March 1989, the Zhuji Jingmei Pearl Powder Factory is conveniently situated 50 km from the Hanzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and 12 km from the exits of Hang, Jin and Qu Highway. Accessibility is further enhanced by its location at the central point 30 km from the cities of Zhuji, Shaoxing and Xiaoshan, and 1 km from Weichi Station of the Zhe-Gan Railway.

To take full advantage of the "Home of Pearls in China" where the hometown of the ancient Chinese heartthrob, Xi Shi, was located, we sought approval from the Zhuji People’s Provincial Government in 1990 to make an initial investment of over RMB 20 million to relocate our “freshwater pearls” processing factory to the current site in Zhuji, with a view to upsizing our production and manufacturing more high-end products. Occupying an area of 8,476m², our new production base is the largest of its type in China. It also boasts a modern garden landscape featuring a lush carpet of green lawn and flowers. The Factory is chosen as the only fixed-location model enterprise under the national Xinghuo Scheme of technological development.

The layout of various production units in the Factory is meticulously devised by the Shanghai Institute of Drug Design in accordance with the production flow of Jingmei pearl powder products. Production space of 1,000m² is allocated, in line with international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for pharmaceutical production, to the internal control and processing and the packaging units. Warehouses occupying a total area of 2,000m² are also set up for storage of raw materials, packaging materials, products pending inspection and qualified end-products. All such warehouses meet the requirements on the storage, preservation and custody of medicinal products. In addition, the product inspection cabin and all its equipment are extensively revised according to new requirements.

All persons-in-charge of work units in the Factory possess professional pharmaceutical qualifications and each of our production workers has been trained and certified by local Drug Administration Bureau before they take up the position. In this way, product quality is ensured. Standard regulations in relation to production enterprises are also fully observed.

It is also recommended by the China Consumers Association to global consumers. The fame of Jingmei brand goes even further with its accreditation as the Zhejiang Province Distinguished Brand granted by the Provincial Commerce and Industry Bureau for twice in a row. Furthermore, the products are favored by celebrated actors, singers, DJs, TV hosts, athletes, education and beauty sectors, pharmaceutical makers as well as cosmetic producers. Sales network of Jingmei has now extended to every province and city in the Mainland. Its products can even be found as far as Hong Kong, Europe, Macau, Taiwan and other Southeast Asian regions.

On export: We have appointed Hong Kong Yips Far East Enterprises Ltd. as the exporter of Jingmei pearl powder products and our sole premier agent in Hong Kong, Macau and overseas regions. Yips has the authority to take full charge of all planning, exploration and sales business in overseas markets.
